A Lesson for Mother

One permanent marker + six-year-old = graffiti artist.

I caught our little Banksy in mid-act on the front steps. He had been busy...

a planting pot...

recent portraits of the artist's parents on the threshold...

a five-gallon bucket...

a recently salvaged rocker...

Oh no, not the flagstones! "It's a self-portrait," I'm later told.

Richele, these are priceless!! What did you do next? (How could you punish such creativity...)

Hi Max...

Shall I send the boys some paper?

I don't think Lynn painted over the last of Jacob's renegade art work until after she moved out. It just becomes a part of the landscape; especially after a decade has passed. Cole's preferred medium was spray paint. I wish Max could finish the step.

So, are you keeping the graffiti? I don't know if I could; but they adorable and will fade over time... sniff sniff!

No wrath, just a review on where drawing is proper. He has never been one to draw on walls so it took me a bit by surprise.

The ones we walk over daily are beginning to fade but the flagstone still looks bright and that's my personal favorite.

What a hoot! One of mine let loose with a permanent marker in the kitchen one day. Turned the computer into a lovely blue. ;D
